We Believe in Opportunities !

Our members believe that individuals with Down Syndrome are capable of full participation in society and should be given the opportunity to develop their potential.

To make this mission come to life, the Lower Mainland Down Syndrome Society aims to:

  • Provide information, support, and resources to individuals with Down Syndrome in BC and their families
  • Provide information about Down Syndrome and resources to people and organizations who support individuals with Down Syndrome and their families
  • Advocate that governments and appropriate agencies provide the special resources often needed by individuals with Down Syndrome and their families

Dance Classes(New LMDSS Program)

Members $25.00 for 11 weeks / Non-members $50.00 for 11 weeks
(This program is subsidized by LMDSS)

Students to bring water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes (No Jeans).

One to One Reading and Math Classes:

Date: September 24th to December 12th,2019
Days: Monday’s,Tuesdays and Thursdays
Times: 3:20 – 4:20 and 4:20 – 5:20 and 5:20 – 6:20

Cost: $10.00 per 1 hour session
(This program is subsidized by LMDSS)

There will also be their annual general meeting from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. so come see whats new.
