Video Blogs

Aristotel, together with her family, including her 2 year old that has down syndrome and her 4 year old boy, has started a YouTube vlog about her life, with videos posted a few times a week. She would like to find ways to bring her experiences to people, sharing familiar positive moments in her life with other people with family members that have down syndrome.

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Dear LMDSS members and interested professionals.

This is an official announcement of the Annual General Meeting, which will be happening on June 25th, 2017 at Fleetwood Park, in Surrey, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

From April to June 23rd our office will be taking nomination requests from interested parties who would like to put their names forward for the following board of directors positions.

Once we receive your name, we will then send you a nomination package for you to complete, and return before May 24 th, 2017.

(Members and Non-Member prices include 1 parent or support person, and the special needs individual).
Erin Parr is an experienced Music Therapist focused on children with disabilities. Over 12 years of experience working with Autistic children, children with disabilities, and babies/toddlers she has applied music therapy to a wide range of situations with exciting results. Erin uses an activity-based method with a focus on and enthusiasm to facilities progress towards therapeutic goals.
Registration Deadline March 20th, 2017.

Reading & Math Program Spring Classes: (Sign Up Now)

Dance Fit Classes (NEW)
The Lower Mainland Down Syndrome Society will be starting up this program in the Spring. The dates are will be confirmed shortly, and will be posted.
