Come out and join the LMDSS Youth Group for a day at the Vancouver Aquarium where you can enjoy a fun filled day with lots of amazing things to see and do.  Meet with Melissa at 11:00 and stay as long as you like.
Meet up with old and new friends, get caught up on the latest stories, and share a meal together.

The LMDSS along with CDSS and Surrey Cares Community Foundation  is pleased to be offering our Reading & Math one on one program.
These skills and resources will be used to help improve your child/adult reading and math abilities and will help to bring them to the next level.
We will be setting up assessment meetings and assigning time slots to each participate, so if you would like to register for this program, please contact the LMDSS office at info@lmdss.com.

Sexuality Classes  for 12+

Instructed by Jessica Wollen, a Teacher, Certified Sexual Health Educator, Parent, and the CEO of Shift Education.
Classes are designed for children, and adults with special abilities, their parents, and caregivers, or support staff. Classes will cover body changes, hygiene, puberty, safer sex, abuse prevention, exploitation prevention, and healthy relationships.

The Lower Mainland Down Syndrome Society is looking at starting another new program called dance fit. If your child, teen, or adult is interested in making friends,having fun, and getting into shape please email the LMDSS office to let us know you are interested in joining us. Christmas Shopping Fundraising Event
